RightNow Kids is specifically designed to serve kids’ ministries with biblically grounded, high-quality, easy-to-use church curricula. When we started thinking about creating a kids’ Sunday school curriculum, we began with prayer and a question: What outcome do we hope for? And the answer was simple: We want kids to know, love, and follow Jesus. That goal became the foundation of God’s Kids, and you can learn more about our philosophy here.
God’s Kids is a three-year kids’ ministry curriculum for preschool and elementary kids. The curriculum includes everything you need within the platform to equip volunteers and leaders for teaching. Each lesson includes a teaching video, Bible story video, lesson slides, and optional engagement activities. With your God’s Kids subscription, every family in your ministry can also access the RightNow Kids app, which keeps parents engaged with discussion prompts and thoughtful questions.
Each lesson features a kid-friendly main idea and points back to one of three pillars: God’s Story, God’s Character, and God’s Family. The curriculum also includes four-week Christmas and Easter lessons, as well as two-week standalone lessons to fill any gaps for each year.
The curriculum is designed for preschool and elementary kids. While each lesson shares the same Big Idea, preschool and elementary lessons and activities are structured to be engaging, easy to understand, and age-appropriate for each group. Elementary lessons also include different questions for older kids and younger kids, so you can pick and choose which questions fit your class’s needs.
Each lesson is completely customizable! You can use each lesson as is, change the order of content, remove content, or add your own content to each lesson.
We intentionally created the curriculum to align with the needs of young learners. Lessons prioritize simplicity, repetition, and clear foundational ideas, rather than detailed timelines or abstract concepts. Bible stories are presented in consistent, familiar ways that help children absorb meaning over time. This structure reflects early childhood learning principles, focusing on engagement and understanding at a preschool level.
At the heart of the God’s Kids curriculum is the hope that kids will know, love, and follow Jesus. From writing scripts to filming videos, our team has been hard at work to creating original content that helps kids become and grow as disciples of Jesus. Our team wrote Bible lessons, teaching scripts, Bible story scripts, and all other discipleship material; directed and filmed all teaching videos and engagement videos; and used AI to take their unique vision and assist in the creation of animated Bible story videos.
We’ve also had an incredible team of advisors and consultants who are heavily involved in kids’ ministry to help us make sure we’re meeting the needs of kids, parents, volunteers, and ministry leaders with the God’s Kids curriculum. All you need to teach a God’s Kids lesson is a laptop or computer and a screen. The curriculum can be mirrored from your device onto a screen. You can also download the RightNow Kids TV app on your Apple TV, Android TV, or most Fire TVs.* Some optional resources, such as teaching scripts and activity pages, can also be printed.

God’s Kids will have everything you need in the curriculum for teaching and worship. Some lessons have optional activities that may require additional supplies such as crayons, glue, scissors, or other craft materials. Each activity includes a Materials Needed list so you can make sure you have everything you need.
Through the RightNow Kids desktop platform, you can screen mirror the God’s Kids curriculum onto a screen. This will open a presenter view, which will allow you to see speaker notes and upcoming slides on your computer or laptop as you play the curriculum on a second device.
You can also connect a laptop to your screen with an HDMI cable and print the lesson script to follow along, or you can download the RightNow Kids TV app on your Apple TV, Android TV, or Fire TV to play the curriculum directly from your classroom TV.

If you are an Owner, you can simply drag and drop lessons in your Upcoming Lessons tab to reorder them. You can swap in a standalone lesson or rearrange series around breaks in your ministry’s normal rhythms, such as during Christmas and Easter.

Lessons move from the Upcoming Lessons section to the Past Lessons section at 3:00am Central Time the day after the scheduled lesson date.
Once a lesson has been part of your schedule, it stays accessible in Past Lessons indefinitely, so you can always revisit or reuse it.
Standalone lessons are two extra lessons each year. Unlike other God's Kids lessons, they don't belong to a six-week, Christmas, or Easter theme, and they can be used at any time of the year if you have an extra Sunday between themes that needs a lesson. These lessons are meant to provide your ministry with flexibility, so feel free to use them whenever it’s helpful!
Each memory verse is tied to a six-week theme, so one memory verse covers six lessons. The four-week-long themes for Christmas and Easter each have their own memory verses, as do the standalone lessons.
The Activity Hub is a searchable library of crafts, games, and activities for God’s Kids lessons. You can find it in the top navigation bar. Filter by activity type or age group, preview any activity, and add it directly to your lesson. The Activity Hub is available to any user on your account.
